Senior Graphic Designer
We’re after a skilled, talented and capable PR account exec to provide support in our growing consultancy in Birmingham. Our founding ethos 10 years ago was to deliver our clients’ key messages in print, on air and online and over the years, only the ratio of the delivery mechanism has changed. And the fact that now most things will benefit from a video.
A good newsworthy story is still at the heart of what we do, and so is plenty of imagination. If it’s not interesting, there’s no point doing it. Our new hire will need to have an eye on the news, be practical in achieving results and bold in creating conversations that will ultimately deliver what our clients are looking for. And more.
Our clients are some of the very best businesses and brands, operating in sectors where it’s easy for us to be enthusiastic. You’ll need to be enthusiastic too, with a few years’ PR experience and be able to demonstrate that you can make a creative as well as a practical contribution to our team and what we do.
None of our team is ever pigeon-holed, and everyone is encouraged to utilise their skills and to adapt the role according to their particular talents, although this doesn’t mean that they can get out of doing the jobs that they aren’t so keen on. Tea making for the boss is on the cards at whatever level people join the company.
For us, the sell-in to journalists is most likely to be at the start of the process, to understand what the media wants from a story before we create the opportunity and produce any supporting assets. This role isn’t just about writing a press release, briefing a photographer by email, then pressing send on a distribution list. This is about seeing the story, planning the activity, doing the interviews and being on site with our own camera team, and playing your part in the vision and the finished product.
The role is based in our central Birmingham office, but with clients nationwide and activities right across Europe and beyond, national travel is inevitable and European travel probable.
A full driving licence is essential, with no age or points-related issues that would prevent you from driving a hire car, because part of this job will be providing support for our recently launched specialist motorsport and automotive team, and getting public transport to a far-away race track or remote client facility really isn’t a thing. A motorcycle licence would be a distinct boon.
The Reeves PR team is diverse and the environment quirky and rewarding. We will enable the right person to quickly establish themselves within the team and to immediately get to grips with key client activities. A positive, friendly nature and proactive approach to work is a must.

We're on the hunt for a talented Senior Graphic Designer to support our team as we launch into some exciting new projects. We use Adobe Suite and principally need help with design for print and for static and animated digital graphics.
You'll be skilled, experienced and confident, with a good eye for style.
Working from our office in Birmingham city centre, we expect that this flexible role will probably suit a freelancer and would initially be for a couple of days per week.
Please send your info, including rates and link to your portfolio to email@example.com
