Anti-scald bathroom product manufacturer Inta has bid one third of its team of directors a fond farewell.

Barry Humphreys, who co-founded the firm with partners Cynthia Fisher and Stuart Gizzi 12 years ago, is retiring. The trio have worked together in the bathroom, plumbing and heating industries for more than 25 years.

Humphreys has fulfilled most senior responsibilities, heading up the sales, technical and original equipment manufacturing departments during his time there and was instrumental in the launch of the company’s bestselling heating and plumbing range in 2012.

Speaking of his departure, fellow director Stuart Gizzi said: “Barry has been a fantastic business partner and I’m proud to have worked so closely with him over the years. It almost feels like the end of an era, after working alongside both him and Cynthia for such a long time.

“He’s certainly going to be missed in the office, but we know he’ll stop by to say hello from time to time. The fact that he too is a Wales rugby supporter means I’ll continue to see a lot of him - when he’s not holidaying or golfing that is!”
