The final behind-the-scenes preparations are being made at The Body Shop®  outlet store which is set to open at Resorts World this week (Wednesday 21st October).

The Body Shop® Customer Consultants team are excitedly stocking shelves with popular collections including indulgent Christmas gifts, seasonal body care, make-up, mens’ toiletries and fine fragrances - with reductions of up to 40 per cent off.

It was revealed last week that The Body Shop is to be part of a host of top high street brands opening at the £150 million Resorts World Birmingham development on Wednesday.

Nine jobs are being created at the store, which is the first of The Body Shop’s outlets to arrive in the Midlands, and will join 14 others across the country.

Store Manager Julie Baker, who originally worked at the Leamington Spa branch, said they were excited to be given the keys to the new shop.

“We really can’t wait to open and we know this is going to be a really exciting venture for The Body Shop. The team and I are working really hard to make sure  it looks its very best for opening day on Wednesday and we can’t wait to meet all our new customers and also the other retailers,” she said.

The Body Shop Regional Manager Kate Allen said: “Resorts World has a great selection of stores and we are proud to be a part of such an exciting new venture. Previously the closest outlet was Cheshire Oaks, so now shoppers in the Midlands are able to enjoy discounts on beauty favourites closer to home . The whole experience for visitors to Resorts World is fantastic as it means they can come and do some shopping, eat at a selection of restaurants and see a movie at the cinema, all under one roof.”
