Celebrate the luck of the Irish with Selfridges Birmingham, which will be turning green on St. Patrick’s Day to mark the occasion.

A popular day in Birmingham’s calendar, with the city’s annual parade always a huge success, Selfridges Birmingham will be getting in on the St Paddy’s craic by turning a vibrant shade of green on Tuesday 17th March.

Selfridges Birmingham will also be bringing a touch of shamrock to the city with some tasty Irish-themed treats. Indulge in a thick slice of Irish Cream Gourmet Butter Fudge from Fudge Kitchen £3.50 (85g); with a generous glug of the finest Irish cream mixed into creamy fudge, this indulgent treat is both sophisticated and little bit naughty.

Finally, St. Paddy’s Day wouldn’t be right without mentioning Ireland’s favourite tipple, Guinness. Treat yourself or a loved one to a packet of Burts Guinness flavour Thick Cut Potato Chips for 99p or a bottle of Special Export Guinness (£4.60), the Emerald Isle’s famous stout with a smooth, intense flavour.

Selfridges’ Birmingham Deputy General Manager Sam Watts said: “Birmingham has a fantastic Irish community and we can’t wait to join in the St. Patrick’s Day festivities by turning our iconic building green.”

Fudge Kitchen’s Irish Cream Fudge and Special Export Guinness will be available to buy in the Food Hall area Level One at Selfridges Birmingham.
