Apprentice star Nick Holzherr will be making a guest appearance at Selfridges Birmingham next week to talk about his rise from Lord Sugar’s Boardroom to CEO of his own city-based firm.

The successful entrepreneur and TV star, will be discussing his experience on hit show The Apprentice and giving priceless advice to professionals looking to climb the professional ladder.

The talk, open to all shoppers and city workers to come along to, is part of the iconic store’s ‘Work it’ two-week campaign. It includes a series of exciting activities such as Mindfulness Meditation, Laughter Yoga, Salsa Classes and Simple Self Defence, which  have all been designed to help people reclaim their lunch hour.

The Apprentice star and Founder  of Whisk.com Nick Holzherr, will be giving his talk at 6pm on Wednesday, 27th May.


As an Aston University graduate and with his business headquarters in Birmingham, Nick said he was excited to take part in the ‘Work It’ initiative to share his journey from Boardroom to CEO.   

Nick said: “ I think that personal development is absolutely critical - in your personal life as well as in work. It's brilliant to have the opportunity to be able to do that on your doorstep over lunch or after work.“  

Nick was a finalist on The Apprentice in 2012 and went on to become CEO of Whisk.com, a unique smart grocery shopping list application that allows its international users to discover, save and enjoy recipes and food. Since it’s launch, Whisk.com was named PPA Digital “Newcomer of the Year” in 2013 and The Grocer's “Top New Talent” in 2014. Under Nick’s leadership, Whisk.com has won many of the UK’s biggest retailers and brands as clients. This month it was also named one of the top 100 startups in the UK.
