Park Regis Birmingham, the city’s newest four-star hotel, has teamed up with Birmingham Hippodrome to sponsor ‘Does your Mamma know?’, a major fundraising event taking place alongside smash-hit musical Mamma Mia.

On Thursday 30th June, the Hippodrome is inviting its supporters to an informal evening of dining and entertainment as it recreates the Greek wedding banquet from the show. Hosted by Heart FM breakfast show presenter Ed James and BBC presenter and Hippodrome Development Trustee Joanne Malin, diners will feast on a Mediterranean supper and enjoy mezze sharing platters, as well as dance the night away at an Abba-themed afterparty.

Judith Greenburgh, Corporate Development Manager at Birmingham Hippodrome, said: “Park Regis’ sponsorship of the event will make a direct contribution to Hippodrome CREATIVE, through which we provide a range of learning opportunities for young people and local communities, often working with vulnerable groups. As an independent charity, we rely on this fundraising and sponsorship to be able to carry out our work. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to team up with our supporters for a celebratory night of fun and fundraising.”

Robin Ford, General Manager at Park Regis Birmingham, said: “Working with the Hippodrome is an exciting opportunity for us. The theatre does fantastic work in the community and we look forward to raising funds for Hippodrome CREATIVE at the Mamma Mia event.”

Mamma Mia runs at the Birmingham Hippodrome from 28th June to 3rd September.
