Happy couples wanting to tie the knot can now take their love to new heights, as Park Regis, the four-star Birmingham city centre hotel, now offers wedding packages in its exclusive 16th floor Sky Gallery.
The premium destination, which boasts 360° views across the city and floor-to-ceiling windows, can accommodate up to 250 guests, making the deluxe hotel the only venue in the city that combines stunning views and the ability to entertain so many visitors.
The new wedding venue, which has its own dedicated ground-floor entrance, complements the hotel’s fabulous Sky Loft, which can accommodate up to 100 wedding guests and has already played host to 11 weddings since it was launched in June last year.
Mark Payne, General Manager, said: “When we refurbished the 16th floor, we knew that the Sky Gallery would be a superb wedding space and now, to meet demand from couples who want to celebrate their marriage in front of 250 family and friends, we have a licence to conduct ceremonies.
“It’s a stunning space for any elegant celebration or event, so adding weddings to that plan was inevitable.”
Park Regis Birmingham, which has 253 deluxe rooms, undertook an extensive £1 million refurbishment of the 16th floor last year, opening in June. The floor was completely remodelled to offer an exclusive events space.
Guests attending weddings on Level 16 enjoy their own dedicated ground-floor entrance, enabling them to check in and drop off bags, if they are staying overnight, before going straight to their event.
