Aston Martin junior driver Charlie Eastwood has appointed Reeves PR to help raise his profile across the sport.
The 23-year-old driver, who was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, has raced in a variety of championships, including the BRDC F4 Championship and the Porsche Carrera Cup GB. Strong progression through these lower formulas put him in contention to race for Aston Martin.
Competing in such prestigious racing series as the FIA World Endurance Championship and the Blancpain GT Series as an Aston Martin junior driver gave Charlie a clear career path.
Now, he aims to increase his profile further by appointing the Birmingham-based agency, which has a wealth of experience in the motorsport and automotive sectors.
Charlie said: “It's great to partner up with Reeves. It is a high-profile agency that has worked with high-end brands in motorsport and automotive for many years, and I’m looking forward to start working together on a one-to-one basis as I go through the next season of racing.”
Adam Arbon, Reeves PR account executive, will work alongside Charlie.
He said: “Having the opportunity to raise the profile of such a talented driver was something we couldn’t pass up. We will be working with Charlie for 11 races this season and I am thrilled that he has chosen us to help raise his profile across a variety of channels. I hope we’ll be reporting some big wins and successes throughout what will be a busy season.”
Reeves PR provides public relations and social media support for a range of prominent clients in the UK and continental Europe, including Selfridges, Goodyear Dunlop and Birmingham City Council. Entering its second decade of business, Reeves PR launched Pitbox91, a specialist motorsport PR unit, in 2018 to bolster its existing automotive work and supplement its construction, manufacturing, hospitality and retail client base.
Managing director Clive Reeves said: “We’re only too pleased that Charlie has recognised Reeves PR’s strong background in the motorsport sector and has appointed us for this specialist role. Adam is a rising star in this particular arena of PR and it is only fitting that he should support Charlie this season.”
