Leading online beauty retailer, Birchbox, will be coming to the city next month (MAY) for the first time with a pop-up shop at Selfridges Birmingham.

The beauty box service, which launched in 2010, is an online service that offers hair and makeup enthusiasts a monthly subscription, sending out beautifully presented boxes filled with mystery deluxe samples tailored to the customer’s unique profile.

The pop-up in Selfridges Birmingham store, will allow customers to shop the physical space themselves and select six luxury treats they wish to fill their exclusive ‘Birchbox at Selfridges’ boxes (£15) with, which will be available in store from Sunday, 29th May until Saturday, 11th June.

Featuring makeup, hair and beauty products from a range of leading brands including Benefit, Ole Henriksen, Laura Mercier and Percy & Reed, beauty devotees are being given a unique opportunity to discover new products or simply stock up on holiday getaways.

There will also be Birchbox beauty advisors on hand to recommend products to customers, ensuring the experience is as personal as possible.

Adam Hockney, general manager at Selfridges Birmingham, said: “Birchbox is a fantastic way to discover new beauty products - already proved with its huge popularity online. Following the success of the pop-up shop in our London store, we knew we had to bring it to Birmingham to share with our beauty fans. It will be a fun way of taking the online experience offline, giving shoppers the rare opportunity to personalise their own beauty box.”
